Everyone praises protein! I have a lot of it, but does it get to a point where it is bad for you?

I would think it has more to do with what your goals are and what your workout program is like. I do resistance training 3-4 times/wk and try to get 1g per pound of body weight spread over the course of 5-6 meals which puts me right at 30g per sitting. It's actually quite difficult to get too much protein unless you are constantly eating protein bars and/or shakes. Real protein is much better since it usually has a higher thermic effect.0

I really doubt you could eat enough of it for it to be toxic. Unless you ate some serious amounts via protein powder etc.... Even then........0

This is correct. There is no evidence to suggest that consumption of large amounts of protein can be dangerous...unless you have kidney disease.0
