I was told to eat my goal TDEE

Ok so my goal weight TDEE is 2137 Calories.. I was told i should just eat that now to lose the hundred pounds i am going to lose..
is this true or is it just some crazy talk lol
(i am always looking for some guidance since each day is a learning experience)

the idea here is that you aren't starving yourself so you aren't slowing down your metabolism or losing valuable lean muscle mass, and then you are already eating at your maintenance level, so you don't have to change when you get to your goal weight... very smartly laid out and explained even though it is kind of confusing, but if you use his calculator excel spreadsheet it will get you where you want to be... it might be slower, but its healthier and it will work, and you will be more likely to stick to it since you are already eating at maintenance so even if you hit your weight goal then stop working out you shouldn't put weight back on since you're eating habits are already adjusted0 -
