Question on "extra" weekly calories

I used to be on WW and you had weekly points to use after you used your daily points if you wanted. Something to give you a little extra freedom. I noticed MFP doesn't have that. Does anyone give yourself so many extra calories a week to play with? If so, how many and how do you keep track of it?

If you use an Iphone, you can look at a bar graph of calories, and it shows a shadowy one with your weekly average. If I have a "BAD" day, I try to make sure my WEEK turns out ok... so I might go over 400 cals one day, but be under 50, 70, 30, 100, etc., and even it out for the week. Some days I work out a lot, sometimes not at all, so it's hard to eat all of those exercise calories.

Someone asked about "banking" calories today, and my response was this:
Many of us have a "cheat day" where we don't track our food, or might have something we wouldn't normally. I don't bank, but I do have a cheat day. Still losing weight...

It would apply to this as well.

I'm not really talking about banking calories (like if I ate 50 under one day, I can eat 50 over another). I mean just extra on top so you can splurge every once in a while without feeling guilty. But maybe a cheat day could do it...I just liked the extra thing because you could go over a little each day or have one splurge...up to a point...
