Hi, I'm a wife and mother of two from Ghana in Africa and would want to lose some weight. i have a sedantary life due to my work schedule(office Manager in a Bank), however i believe with some exercise and healthy diet i will get to my target weight. i did lose some weight in the past but gained it all back so i hope this time round i will lose it and keep it off.:smile:

    This is a great place to get motivated & inspired!

    I have a sedentary office job too. This is what I do to get myself moving:

    - Stand up periodically and stretch, overhead, side to side etc.
    - Pull the shoulders back frequently to not hunch over the computer!
    - Use a 2 lb. weight for light lifting while sitting at desk.
    - Take the stairs instead of the elevator in the building & parking garage.
    - Go up & down the stairs inside the building for exercise.
    - Take a 30 minute walk outside every lunch break.
    - And most important.... stay out of the candy jar in the reception area! :laugh:
