Dug up an old recipe from my chemistry class, thought I'd share it with people.

What you need:
1c. milk (recipe called for 2% or whole, I made it with almond mild and it was awesome)
Sugar to taste (Splenda also works)
Fruit/ flavoring desired

Ice (about 2 trays worth)
Rock salt
Sandwhich zip bag
Gallon zip bag

Mix the milk, sweetener, and flavoring together, put in the sandwhich size bag, zip closed. Place in gallon sized bag, put ice and rock salt around it, zip closed. Now shake! It's a lot of fun if you get a few people and play football with it, lol. Eventually the milk will turn about the consistency of soft serve, and voila, ice cream!

Vanilla almond milk and strawberries are great, and it's fun to play around with flavors. Best part, if you just have plain vanilla, it's only about 90 cal for a cup of ice cream. It melts a bit fast, but it's to be expected. Hope you enjoy!
