New Sneaker Recommendations?

I just took my dog for a 30 minute walk on flat terrain and my feet are killing me! I think it's time for new kicks.

I'm not a runner. I wear my sneakers for moderate walking in the neighborhood and aerobics/strength training in the house.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

    The only way to know for sure is to try different brands out. I swear by Adidas, but most people think they are crap. I also like Saucony. But Asics, which everyone I know worships - they killed my feet and I hated them.

    A good sporting goods store can actually help you pick out the best shoes for you for walking or running or whatever. I have a pair of Nike View III for walking but I wear Asics for my runs since I tend to run on the inside of my feet.

    See if there is a runners world or similar store near you. Their staff are trained on how to fit you best in the right shoe for your activities.
