Ok so I'm 5'5" and I KNOW I'm gonna be overweight when this babys born.. lol I started overweight and am 204lbs now at 30 weeks pregnant.. I will be breastfeeding.. so how much should I aim to weigh. My non pregnant and non breastfeeding goal is around 150 to 160lbs.. So... should I allow myself a little extra weight for breast milk?? How much?? lol I know it's a crazy question but I just don't know. :p

Ok I'm not sure of ur question but when I breastfed I went from 157lbs (weight at delivery) to 120lbs still breast feeding. It has nothing to do with ur weight as long as ur getting propper nutrition. I think u need to add like 300 extra on to ur daily goal cuz bf takes alot

Ok thanks.. :) I just wasn't sure if I should aim for a different goal from what I had wanted. :)

ummm ask your doc? youre pregnant - your ob is familiar with your weight and any issues. he or she will be able to advise on how much you should gain and what you can expect to lose after the baby is born.

youll lose a lot of weight right after the baby is born, and a lot of weight breastfeeding (assuming you eat healthy and exercise some).
