Logging diet sodas or no calorie items?

I don't log my diet soda, but I don't care about my sodium. My blood pressure is great and I don't retain water from it, so the insignificant amount in diet soda certainly doesn't bother me. Most people would argue otherwise, I'm just a weirdo who doesn't care about sodium intake.

I dont log diet soda, tea, coffe, water or gum. It's just not what I'm interested in at this time. I am interested in sodium, but it's because, I often need more sodium than I get.

Since Sodium is a big deal to me, I do. I retain water like crazy if I don't stay around 1600. I have a drinks section in my diary, so if it's not water I just scan the label with my phone. Easy.

My can of diet pepsi has 25 mg of sodium. Which is 1% of recommended intake. Why does everyone think that diet soda has a lot of sodium?

Yep...I even log my medication and supplements I take even if they have no nutritional content.

Exactly. I've been saying this forever. I'm not against people logging it/cutting it out/ saying it's bad with all the evil chemicals...but the argument that it has sooooo much sodium is a slight exaggeration.

The only thing I don't log is herbal tea if I drink it black. If I add any milk, nut milk or sweetner I will log it. I don't drink too many diet drinks, but I have the occasional vitamin water zero and will log that since it has artificial ingredients.
