College Graduation, how should I wear this outfit?

I need a bit of help from the girls, especially those who are fashion forward!

I picked this dress up today in an x-small. It looks gorgeous. I'm planning to wear it to my senior graduating art show, which is my final show of art college this Friday. However I'm at a loss on how to wear it.

I was thinking textured hair, up in a braided up do with long, dangly earrings and no necklace. I haven't really decided on shoes yet. I've got some pretty chunky, muscular legs.

Anybody have any thoughts or inspiration on how to really pull this outfit together into something sexy and eye-catching?

That's such a cute dress! I like your idea of how to wear it. Maybe put your hair in a loose french braid & wrap the bottom of the braid into a bun (it's really cute, I swear) The earrings for sure. If you wear a belt with it, wear heels. If not, go more casual & wear flats. And congrats/good luck with your art show :)

I love nude colored platform heels with black dresses.

that dress is ADORABLE!!! i used to work at express too :) personally, i would wear my hair down in loose curls, but if you really like the braid idea, here are a few sites for inspiration:

as for accessories, go for something bold, like an emerald green belt or cobalt blue earrings. if you like the snake belt idea, stick to neutrals and metallics for everything else. have fun and congrats!

    Cute dress :)

    For the accessories:
    - Since the belt is silver/white, I'd wear silver jewellery for everything else. Try a cute small silver necklace, long dangling earrings and silver and black bracelets.
    - A silver or black clutch is fine.

    Shoes:
    - Heels is a must!
    - Black with a silver stone
    - Or silver strappy heels
    - Black pumps
    - If you're going for something out there, red. Try it on to see if it works though.
    - You might be able to pull-off wedges with this dress if you prefer that. No flats though! :P

    Hair:
    - You can wear it down in loose curls
    - Do a headband braid
    - Or two small braids going from the sides of your head

    Nails:
    - I'd stray away from black
    - Silver is fine but it doesn't suit everyone's tone so be careful
    - A dark colour of any kind should look fine
    - White french tips would look cute
    - Nude coloured nails are good too

    Make-up:
    - Stay away from dark colours because you're not going to a party
    - Keep it natural and balance it out. So if you're going heavy on the eyes then don't put much on anywhere else. Or go light on the eyes and put on a strong lipstick and blush.

    Good luck :)
