Weight gain after appendics removed

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has found that they gained weight on their stomach after having their appendics removed?

If so, do you know why and more importantly how do you go about getting rid of it.

I had mine removed over 4 years ago and it has since fast become the place where my body gains weight the quickets and is hardest to lose.
I'm 31 and female and really want to get back into shape

any help much appreciated
