Many of us do, i have 10 lbs. The issue you have if not eating enough. The closer to your goal the more you need to eat so your body doesnt feel its not getting enough calories. At your point you can aim for 1lb per week and eat back 50-75% of your exercise calories. Or you can post your height, age and height and we can figure out how many calories are good for you.0 -
I'm eating between 1600-2000 most days. I'm pretty close to goal. I aimed at 0.5lbs per week loss. MFP suggests eating 1410 calories. I eat back almost all my calories (by the end of the week). I do measure my foods and I have a heart rate monitor and fitbit to help me gauge how much my exercise is. If I was strictly using the MFP database, which sometimes I have for water activities, then I only eat back 50-75% of them because they are more inaccurate. I try to NET close to 1400. Since I calorie zigzag, it varies but by the end of the week, I come pretty close.
I'm 5'4" and currently 138lbs.
I'm losing pretty steadily. There have been a few weeks with no loss and then suddenly woosh.
I also use multiPle measurements such as body fat calculators, tape measurements, scale, clothing fit and pictures.0
