Well, a few folks posted comments when I said i didn't want to exercise... One even gave me a crybaby face! So, last week the car had a flat. I live almost exactly a mile from my job as the crow flies, but more like a mile and a half by the road. I had to take a cab to work, because time was of the essence, but decided to walk home after work and save the cab fare. Well, it was the coldest day of the year and snowing hard, but I got home in 40 minutes. The next day, same thing, cab to work, walk home... except there was a frieght train parked in the way. Did I mention that there are four sets of train tracks, a field of sharp weeds higher than my waist and a steep hill on that mile-as-the-crow-flies trek? I figured it was easier to crawl under the tank car than to climb over the coupling. I did really have to crawl, because squatting and stooping didn't cut it. On the other side, I put my hand out to steady myself as I got up and totally missed the train! I fell heavily and bruised both knees. You know those big rocks that are always on both sides of a train track? Ouch! I got through the weed field and up the hill. About two blocks from my house a city bus pulled up! If it had been ten minutes earlier I'd have gotten on! The next day was my day off and I got the flat fixed, but I did get some exercise at least two days this month!

    Hope you feel better!
That was an awesome thing to do... you should keep it up.
You'll be able to walk to and from work in no time.
