So, I've been a low carb low sugar diet for about 5 weeks now and lost about 15 lb. However, I would like to start phasing out and increasing my caloric intake by about 200 for the first couple of weeks then up to about 1500-1600 and add exercise. My plan is to take what I learned about portion control and try to go with healthier foods from now on!

I'm really scared that I will start gaining weight again. Have people had experience in gaining weight after a low carb diet? What is the best way to go about increasing calories without gaining weight?

I think the way you described it (adding cals and exercise together and slowly) will work out well. You may gain a few the first week or 2, then I think you'll be losing at a steady rate :)
