Breakfast in a Blender
Ingredients
1 Scoop Protein Powder
1/3 C. Dry Oatmeal
2/3 C. Water, Skim Milk, Soy Milk, Almond or Rice Milk
1 Tbs. Natural Nut Butter
1 Frozen or Fresh Banana
2 Tbs. Unsweetened Applesauce
1 Tbs. Flax Seed
1 Tbs. Wheat Germ
1/2 C. Ice
Blend all ingredients. Makes (4) 1 C. servings.
Cal 275, Protein 8g, Carbs 55g, Fiber 6g, Sugar 28g Sodium 37g (I have added this food to the database)
Blueberry Buzz Smoothie
1/2 C. Skim Milk (or other)
1/2 C. Water
1/2 C. Frozen or fresh blueberries
1 Tbs. Flax Seed
1/2 C. Unsweetened Applesauce
1/2 C. Plain Nonfat Yogurt
2 Scoops Whey Protein Powder
Blend all ingredients.
Unfortunately this one didn't have nutritional information and I haven't figured it yet.
These are both very good! The first one I was a little leary about, cuz I've never had oatmeal in a smoothie, but I think it is the better of the two!
