Help...

Hi all, I have been logging into my fitness regularly for the last 3.5 weeks. I have stayed under my calorie intake all but one day. I have been walking or jogging for 1 hour every day. And I have gained 2.5 pounds. I am so very frustrated. I am very overweight and I need to loose about 40 pounds. How can I gain weight!!!

    Ugh. That is discouraging.

If you want to be friends I can look at your daily log and see if I see anything that might be the problem.

Don't give up!!!! You can do this.

I found a really good link that helps plan the correct calories you should be eating. check it out. i gained 1.5 pounds eating 1400 calories and exercising 5x per week. once i started on this i lost the 1.5 i gained and an additional pound in 2 weeks. not bad....

I feel your pain.. I've been on MFP for OVER two months and no loss yet..I posted a similiar message last week.. I received a lot of support. After doing some soul searching I realized I was sort of manipulating my food log, I have since started logging EVERYTHING, accurately. The process of fully realizing what I was putting in my mouth has greatly helped, I am finally receiving results. Hope this info is helpful;-) Good Luck!

I would invest in a heart rate monitor. Maybe you're not getting your heart rate in its target zone. Also, even though you're staying under your calorie count maybe you're just not eating the right foods. I would definitely take up the above offer of having someone look at your food diary and let you know if any improvements need to be made. Be positive, Hang in there, and good luck!

you should open you food diary so others can see and maybe help you adjust...but remember everyone is an expert and think their way of things are the best so be prepared to be slammed with advise. But I do suggest you open your food diary
