The 5pm Monster!!! - How do I avoid him??

I finish a 10 hr shift at 5pm. It's all I can do to get home and waste my dinner calories on snacking. I try to eat enough to hold me over while I fix dinner, but "quick fixes" are usually unhealthy, processed ones.
I would love to hear suggestions on healthy quick snacks to ward off the 5pm Monster.
