Lost 1.2 kg this week, 6.2 kg total in first 2 weeks

A little over two weeks ago I thought I had a bad cold, but it turned out what I was really having was a heart-attack. I was in the hospital for a week and got out on the 25th.
During the week in the hospital I lost 5 kg, so I'm counting that.
My doctors recommended any old 1800 calorie diet, but when I got out I decided to be a little more pro-active than that, so I started on the Dean Ornish Spectrum (group 1 plus heart disease reversal) plan. See http://www.ornishspectrum.com/proven-program/nutrition/. I'm also doing that within an 1800 calorie diet. This basically means no animal products (except skim milk and fish oil supplements), and no added oils, nuts or seeds.
Eating that way is not that difficult, but it is hard to eat as many as 1800 calories/day. I never thought I would say that about a diet. I'm even finding it hard to eat 1200 calories/day, but I'm trying. I don't want to overstuff myself though.
This week I lost another 1.2 kg. So it's 6.2 kg = 13.5 lb in all so far.
I know it will slow down, but this is the lowest weight I've been at in nearly two years, so it's a pretty good start.
I would not recommend getting a heart attack and being hospitalized as a diet method though.

Thanks.
As of this morning I'm down 6.8 kg = 15 lb. Still a long ways to go though.
