Do you re-set your calories when you lose weight?

Last post of the night, I swear! It's rainy and I'm bored.
I've lost 8 pounds and lowered my goal-weight and so figured it'd be good to re-set my calories -- and now I have 30 less per day, which is fine, I was just wondering -- do other people re-set their calories to reflect their weight loss? The smaller you are, the smaller your BMR, right? So when you get smaller, so too does your BMR?
