30 something, mum of two

Hi all,
I joined mfp last year, but didn't really do it seriously. At the time I was losing weight through slimming world (managed to lose over 3stone) and I did a little bit of exercise, but very little. My biggest problem is that whilst SW helped me to know good foods to eat, it didn't really address my portion sizes and sometimes I ate too much.
Once I stopped going to class I ended up slowly gaining it all back because not only did I just stop going to class, but I started to get lazy, rather than cook from fresh i'd go for convenience and I kept finding 1,001 excuses why I couldn't exercise.
I've finally had enough, whilst i've not got any higher than my original weight, my body sure feels different, I feel like my stomach is much rounder, my arms are looser and I started to feel more puffed out and lethargic.
So rather than go back to SW, which although I know works for me, it doesn't necessarily address all my bad habits I am using mfp properly and doing the calorie counting, hopefully it'll help me understand 'food' better. I'm also doing more exercise. I've started to do Zumba twice a week and I joined the local gym, due to a fab offer. I am also walking to the class and gym. (over 7 mile round trip, including a pretty hefty hill on the way back).
My plan is to stick to the zumba twice per week, gym twice per week and swimming twice per week, alongside the walking.
I'm going to try and log on every day and log everything properly.. the good and the bad.
