Mums & weight loss

Ok, so firstly im wondering if your a mum (my youngest is 6 months) at my heaviest whilst pregnant I reached 73.8 kgs. I had my son (which took my weight down to 66kgs) then i decided to start mfp to lose the remainder of my weight. I am currently at 60 kgs with a goal weight of 55kgs.

My question is, when talking to people about your weight loss journey, how much do you tell them you've lost as in- do you gage when weight at your heaviest to current day, or from when you consciously begun trying to lose weight? Ive been saying ive lost 6kgs which in my mind makes sense, but then i could be ripping myself of a greater weight loss achievment :)

oh and also what activity do mums have their profile set at? I am a work at home mum ( i have an online business) plus the 2 boys to run around after and i work at a paid office job one day a week also) i have myself set at the lowest setting. NOt sure if this is right?
