Mini Success = I still lost after eating all that?!?!?

Okay, last weekend I hopped a train for the first time (that was fun!) and visited my bf. I also went to a friend's bridal shower that weekend as well. So Friday night I had three slices of pizza and a blueberry shortcake that I'm sure caused me to go over a bit. On Saturday I went to the bridal shower and I'm pretty sure I had one small sample of almost everything, fruit, buffalo chicken dip, pinwheels, deviled eggs, strawberry cake, etc. Then I went out to dinner and got mozzarella sticks and ate less than half of a chicken fingers and fries platter. (In my defense, I haven't had chicken fingers since I started my weight loss quest two years ago, they're an old favorite sadly.). Then I went home and we had some friends over where I had a few cocktails too. So, needless to say, I bust my butt at the gym this week. 15 min on treadmill, 30 min on elliptical, ab crunches and went more all out on my weight training days. So, I hop on the scale this morning and I lost 1.2 pounds from last week. What? That's insane! I thought I would have gained for sure. I guess I ate so well during the week and exercised enough that I must have burned it off. In any event, there's my mini success. Although I'll do my best not to ever eat like that again. My stomach hated me soo bad. XD

I consider this lucky too. Although it doesn't always turn out like this, hence my surprise. I have a party to attend in a little over a week so here's to hoping I eat better. I should since she makes healthier food and has a pool that I can swim the calories off afterwards! XD0
