Fickle about my workout plan!

I consider myself a fairly fit person. In 2010-2011 I was doing a good amount of running for my workouts. I started with the Couch to 5k program and I worked myself up to 10k distance. My knees started giving me issues, so I got more into spinning for a while and fell off the running wagon.
This February I started at a local CrossFit box and I've liked it a lot. My only issues are that it's expensive and now that it's summer in Florida, it's too hot for me personally to attend any WODs that are in the afternoon. My only option is to attend at 6 or 7 a.m. before work and I am not a morning person!
My last month at CF ran out this past week and I haven't paid for the next month yet. I tried a new Zumba class offered right near my apartment and it was really great/fun. It was one of the best ones I've done. I'm really interested in doing it 2-3 times a week!
So yeah, help?! If I commit to paying for CrossFit I feel like I def. can't justify doing anything else. Blah.
Oh I also have some interest in getting back into running and doing the Disney Princess Half Marathon in February 2013.
I am mainly interested in weight loss and also toning.
Okay, this post was all over the place! Advice?

My advice, of course, would be to do as I do ... join a regular gym and start doing regular weight training combined with some running in your off days. Resistance training is superior to cardio when it comes to weight loss/fat burning. Xfit type training is great but like you said, it's expensive! Resistance training, cardio on your off days, and a clean diet should surely get you where you need to be0
