I am new to motherhood and also new to my fitness pal, I love this website because it will challenge me to focus on my health and wellness. But, the challenge here for me is to find time to exercise with a 6 weeks old. I normally want to either clean, wash clothes, fold clothes or best sleep when she is sleeping. Any suggestions?

I am in the same boat! Although my baby is 5 months. I take short walks carrying him in a ring sling. Often times he falls asleep and it gives us a chance to cuddle and exercise at the same time. You can log that in as "walking carrying an infant or 15 pound weight".

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take my advice....

THIS is the time to get it done. At this point, he spends most of the day sleeping. In a few months, he'll be moving around more, and sleeping less. Which means you will be even busier than you are now. The longer you wait to get back in shape, the harder it will be. I'm sure there is something that you do during the day to relax whether it's watching a TV show or reading a magazine. Use that time to do a quick workout. Jillian Michael's 30DS is less than half an hour. If you do it during his nap time, you should have enough time left over for at least one chore.

It took me three and a half years to finally realize that something had to be done. I wasted SO MUCH TIME. You can do this!
