Going over MFP carb recommendation

Hi everyone,
I've been staying under my daily calorie goal that MFP set for me but going over the carbs recommendation every other day or so. Will this slow down my weight loss progress even if my calories expended exceed calories taken in? I've been losing weight but at a snail's pace. Thanks in advance.
