All this talk of beer is making me wish I bought more than just a 6 pack for tonight. Oh well.

  • haha, NGL, I'd rather look chubby in my bikini than drink any of those. Or I might as well have water, which is very similar but 0 calorie.

Awesome, thanks so much for sharing.

    Water, who would have thought?

I'm not saying you shouldn't or can't drink it, if you like it go ahead. I personally would not enjoy myself at all.

Just get pissface drunk. Just do it. Do it. DO IT.

Just thought I'd post this up for my drink of the night. The antithesis of light beer! Chocolate Rain: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/16866/53728

19.5%, a little over 1200 calories for the bottle. YUM!

You can't possibly have a beer thread without having beer snobs, its like PB and J!

^ yep. I would rather have my locally brewed stouts or porters than any of the ones on this list. It's worth the calories for a great microbrew.

Sorry: I don't drink sissy beers.

Life it to short to waste time on crappy alcohol.

You didnt read the whole list. Fat tire and guinness and blue moon are NOT crappy beers.
I wish I had one right now. :drinker:

Uhhhhhhh when did GUI ess become an American beer?

GUINNESS AND BLUE MOON ARE DOMESTICS. They are a little less maintstream than __________ lights, but c'mon!

Have a micro m'dear. It will blow your freaking mind.

Although I did miss the fat tire. I love me one of them once in awhile. :drinker:

Since when was Guiness brewed in the US? As far as I know it's only brewed in Dublin. And the best pint of it I've ever had was in a small bar built into the wall of the brewery.

I'm a real ale drinker, I guess they are called Microbrews in the US. I'd rather have something with taste & a few more calories than drink a 'lite' beer.

Sorry to pee on your party...

"Studies show that even small amounts of alcohol have a large impact on fat metabolism. Dropping whole body lipid oxidation (a measure of how much fat your body is burning) by up to 73%!"

    http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/md19.htm

Which is annoying as I really like ciders and single malt whiskies!
  • Holland Heineken on ice pls.

hahah seriously. Natty Light? I'm cringing just thinking about it. I'll just keep working good beer into my calorie budget. Thanks, though! :drinker:

Guinness is brewed in several countries including the US and Canada. Lots of breweries in Africa too (it's apparently quite popular there).
