I'm 4 weeks out since injuring my groin running. Not only can I still not run, I can't jump, do lunges, or even walk strenuously. I'm trying to rest to let it heal but I'm starting to go nuts.
Is 4+ weeks a normal amount of time for a groin to be injured? I've never been injured this badly or long. Would you go in to the doctor or see a sports injury therapist? It does refer to my hip as well which is odd.

I fell last October and it took a long time to heal completely. Dr. told me at least 6 weeks, but it was more. She said not to do anything that hurt. I was so sad because I'd been training for a 5K and it happened the week before. With winter and all, I'm still not back to where I was, but I'm not having any pain so that's good! Hoping for a 5K this summer. Hope you feel better soon!0
