NSV-- liking my body

So, I weighed in today an only lost .6lbs. I was disappointed, but I partly expected it due to TOM snacking (and the snacking choices I was making were not good). However, as I looked at myself in the mirror, I realized that I was beginning to like my body again. It had definition, curves (in the right places!), muscle and I looked ... fit. And thinner. Even if the scale wasn't reading this change.

    NSV= Non Scale Victory :-)
  • Glad to have just read this..... I've been going through some challenges with the scale myself. I've been at the same weight for over 2 weeks now. I've noticed I've become obsessed with a number and not the actual substance of my body. I too took a look at myself today and realized, wow.... I'm starting to get my tone and definition back. I'm not yet at the "I'm liking my body" stage but I thank you for posting and helping me recognize even though the scale isn't moving, the inches are. Thanks...

    Glad it could help you! I'm also a bit of a scale fanatic, but I exercise so much, that I can't forget to take a look at what that exercise is doing to my body. Hang in there!
