What does everybody use for percentages? Do you use what MFP suggests, or something else? Because of a physical problem, I'm not able to lift weights etc., but can do some cardio. What would be best?

i do 40/30/30 (still go over my fat most days tho). are you sure about the weights - it can help some problems e.g. my dodgy knee is virtually gone thanks to squats.

I go 50/30/20 and rarely go over any of them, I find it a good balance and means I don't have to watch what I am eating as much. Weights are great if you can do them, even if it's bodyweight exercises like squats, dips etc.

I have a hard time keeping my protein up and my fat down :(. I have it set to 40/25/35 but it ends up being like 40/37/23.

    Carbs -35%
    Protein-40%
    Fat-25%

It took some time, but this it what works for me. And if I go over on anything, I try not to do it two days in a row. I fluctuate between going over my carbs by about 2-3%, but not too often. I'm pretty good at sticking to these ratios. I try to pre-plan meals for the next day (knowing what events are in my day based around food) and work it out so I can taste foods; but stay healthy too. Even if means brining my own veggies or healthy bread!!

What works really well for me... is eating every 3hours! Keeping that metabolism stoked, never letting my body get into starvation mode. I eat three balanced meals/day and snacks from 100-200 calories.

As far as resistance training, you don't have to go to the gym to exercise those muscles. You can do them in home and use your own body weight. Push-ups, squats, lunges, etc. I have some apps on my phone that give great routines!!

    Best wishes!!
Set your mind to it!! You can do it!!
