Homemade Chili
Alright so i love making chili and even though its 90 out today, I still opted for some good homemade chili, anyways, long story short, I make it but am having trouble locking down the nutritional facts.
I make it with the following;
2 lbs 97/3 Turkey
2 cans black beans
1 can white beans
1 can kidney beans
3 cans del monte, diced tomatoes (the ones with the oregano)
as well as some peppers, a squirt of BBQ sauce, and some spices that I am not too worried about calculating
so far i put all the core values (cals/fat/pro/etc) in excel for the regular serving and have this,
Food serving cal fat/sat/poly/mono/trans chol sod pot carb/fiber/sugar protein
BB 1/2 C 110 0/0/0/0/0 0 1 305 20/6/2 6
WB 1/2 C 127 1/0/0/0/0 0 2 414 23/9/0 8
KB 1/2 C 112 0/0/0/0/0 0 1 358 20/6/0 8
Turk 4 oz 120 2/1/0/0/0 55 70 0 0- 26
tom 1/2 C 50 0- 0 520 310 10/1/08 2
519 3/1/0/0/0 55 594 1387 73/22/10 50
Alright now the serving that I had was a cup, but now that I have all this information, I am kind of lost as to how to take it on from here. I somehow got it into my head to multiply all the numbers by .25 assuming that I could put all the 1/2 Cups into 1/4 and make it a cup.
I'm thinking that I need to multiply the servings by the original amount to get ratios. Any help, its late and its been a long day
