I'm with you, pisceans. I was diagnosed with Type II on Novemeber 22, 2011. Scary stuff. They prescribed meds, but I said no. I have a pilot's license. Being diabetic is a disqualifier. I told him that I would get in charge of my sugar levels without the medicine. So, to shorten this up some, my fasting blood sugar was 262 in November. In March, it was back to 90. My cholesterol went from 123 (overall) to 77, and my BP dropped 10 points on the top and bottom. You can whip diabetes a**. You just have to be determined. Good luck.

    Endeavor to persevere.
