I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for low calorie low carb alcoholic beverages? Getting together with some good friends tonight and i plan on having a little something to drink. I want something that tastes good too.

My favourite tipple is wine, but it is just too high in calories for my liking. So I have switched to drinking Gin in a tall glass with lots of ice, diet tonic and a slice of lime. Very refreshing! Also I quite like a shot of whisky with low calorie ginger ale and a slice of lime, again in a tall glass with ice. Hope you have good evening :flowerforyou:

I usually stick to spirits with a diet mixer. Vodka and diet lemonade for me! :P

Coors Light=about 100 cal. Vodka(and most straight liquor actually)= about 70 cal. Mix it with diet anything and you're good. I like Vodka with soda with either a splash of cranberry or about half a packet of crystal light...
    Have fun!

I switched and drink Bud Select 55. 55 calories a beer vs. 110 on average for all other light beers. It's got half the alcohol, but it's the closest tasting to a regular beer that I've found.

This is awesome for a lightweight like me! I can hang out all night and not get smashed!

If you are in the UK then there is Lambrini light sparkling wine 5.5% alcohol and 40 calories per 125ml glass.

I am sure there are other low alcohol wines that will have low cals.

Or stick to spirits. The darker the drink the more sugar. So Gin/vodka is the lowest calorie option.

Dry martini isn`t too high in cals if you add it into a tall drink with soda water

Gin and slimline tonic :-) roughly 56 cals per drink ( based on a 25ml Gin)
Add a slice of lime and ice ( yum).
