Hi there! I was wondering if anyone knew what I could do with egg yolks after using just the whites-usually I get egg whites separated but I ran out and broke open some regular eggs- any suggestions? I've heard to make your own mayo-any recipes if that's all I can do with them? Thanks in advance!

I think that question has been asked before, and honestly I don't remember what any of the responses were.

However, if you have a dog, or your neighbor has a dog, egg yolks are supposed to be very good for their coats, and unlike most cats, who normally stick their noses up at such stuff, dogs usually love this addition to their daily feedings.

I know that's a weird suggestion, but I distinctly remember my parents adding an egg to our Irish Setters food mixture once a month to keep his coat soft and shiny and easy to groom.

Wow thanks Russia! I've alwayshad trouble grooming my dogs, I never knew that about egg yolks!! I'll have to try that because I run into the same problem with just the yolks left after using the whites.

    Thanks!

I buy egg beaters so there is no waste, but they are very expensive and I use them for myself NOT for my kids :)
