It's not even dinner yet, and I'm already way over on my carbs. I'm one of the lucky ones that can't process even whole grain carbs. I was on the run today after hitting the gym, went to Subway, got a dug out 6" 9 grain turkey, provolone, and full of veggie grinder-46 gr. of carbs?!! WTH? Sometimes it's so discouraging.......

please dont loose faith in your self. i know you can do this. i am sugar intolerant and have to limit myself to 15 carbs a day. i recently learned this qoute that may help you. it has helped me. if it walks, flies, swim, slithers or runs or is a product there of it is edible. if it is a grain (whole of ground) avoid it at all cost. there are plenty of substitutes. try taking some cheese (any hard cheese) cutit into one in squares or use shredded to make about 3 inches in diameterinch ball on parchment paper and microwave on high for 30 to 40 seconds. they will sound crisp when you tap with your fingernail. lit off the paper with tones and set on paper towel to cool. you can reuse the parchement paper over and over. keep crisp in air tight container at room temperature. goes great as crackers for spinach or artichote dip or with tuna, crab or lobster salad. mmmm. yummy, my mouth is watering. oh yea if you make alot you can freeze them. if you want more recipes contact me at ccloud5754@gmail.com. i am going to get sone crab me and cheese crisps.

You can believe me or not on this one because others will come around and say I am full of it but...

I cut carbs about 7 months ago. Not down drastically about 75 net but no bread, pastries, etc. at all. I don't even crave them anymore.

On the few times I have eaten those in the past half a year, the next day I was so hungry I could have gnawed my arm off before lunch came around. That does not happen to me any other day, just the days where I carb binge (and not even that as I still remain under the 75 grams but I eat the wrong carbs).

Carbs are addictive. Don't believe me, try to go without them and see how the first few days are.
