so i know this is probably thinking too much into the subject, but i don't want to ask any friends because they will all just get so excited. So, I have never been pregnant (and if I am its VERY early, i haven't even had a missed period yet, I'm due for one next week) On Wednesday my hubby and I went out on the lake w/ friends. We all drank lots of water and gatorade. And when we got hot we jumped in the lake. I spent most of the day in the water. When we all got home I felt horrible. I felt dizzy, nauseated, and had a headache. I know these are all signs of heat stroke too, but no one else had this happen to them. I even felt like i might pass out. I was really good about staying hydrated. Then when i looked in the mirror that night all my veins and blood vessels around my chest and arms were really raised, at first I thought i had rubbed blue ink on myself. Then the day after I still felt sick, I was shaky and nauseated. Even today, two days later i don't feel right. When i went jogging i had to stop and walk because my stomach felt weird, above my belly button (and that never happens, i hate stopping)Iam on birth control, but REALLY slipped earlier in the month. I know it sounds a lot like heat stroke but i have heard that women expecting feel the heat stroke symptoms much easier. I am probably thinking too much into it... any advice would be VERY appreciated though.

could it be sun poisoning? did you get a sunburn at the lake?0

buy early pregnancy test, make sure you have stored up pee for a few hours, take the test. if it's positive, it's positive. if it's negative wait until after your period and take another- some women have light periods even though they're pregnant.0

Morning urine. It's more potent. Packed with HGH, the pregnancy hormones (I think that's the abbreviation.)
Or go to the doctor. They can do blood tests for pregnancy too.0 -
I was an avid tester when trying with both kids
I got + pg tests about 2-3 days BEFORE my missed AF
I also used the dollar store pg tests and they worked great
I would hold out another day or 2, or test now......no need to wait and drive yourself crazy

nguill6 is on the money -- Get the test, and if its negative take it again after your period. I know the tests have gotten better has time has moved on, but I didn't test positive on one till I was 5 months along, and I had a "normal" period when i was 1 month along.
Other things to check: How does your chest feel? Swollen? Sore? Are you really tired? Almost flu-like tired? Lots of indegestion? These were my early signs.0 -
I know the first signs I had when I was prego, was extreme fatigue, and when I was running, I almost twisted my ankle, because my joints were really loose due to the increase in the hormone relaxin. When I was about 7 weeks, I got extreme all-day sickness (I wouldn't call it morning sickness, lol), until I was about 6 months prego. I did however have the same symptoms as you when i started getting sick. It is a very good possibility you are pregnant. Keep drinking losts of water, and a bit of gatorade (for the electrolytes), just in case it is heat related. Make sure not drink any alcohol or caffienated beverages, as that will dehydrate you more and make you feel even more crappy( plus if you are preggers it is not good). Good luck and keep us posted!0

You're not looking into it too much at all! Pregnancy is a very exciting and LIFE CHANGING thing that you want to know about right away! It could very much have something to do with being out in the sun all day long, or you could be pregnant. And don't listen to anyone who says that's too early for symptons...NOT TRUE! I had morning sickness really bad before a positive test showed up, so then they did an ultrasound to see what was going on and there was just an itty bitty sac that you couldn't even see anything in. The doctor was amazed that I had symptons already...but everyones body is different!!!0
