Hi! Just got my Omron Pedometer set up for tomorrow. Anyone use one? Do you keep it on ALL the time? It seems awesome-has a computer program with it, and records everything. I have a few questions about it though before I start. What is an"event"?

Don't know what an event is - mine is more simple than that. I've been using mine since 2005 (with new ones every so often).

I keep mine in my pocket whenever I go out. I have this one:
    http://www.amazon.com/Omron-HJ-112-Digital-Pocket-Pedometer/dp/B0000U1OCI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1249141814&sr=8-1
I like it because I can program it & it tells me how many calories burned as well as how far I've been. It also works if I carry it in my bag.
Mine doesn't have an event mode, but I bet it's like a reset button - if you don't want to add in your walk through the parking lot, it will start when you actually get to your "walk."
    Have fun!

    That's me :blushing:

I wear it daily for everything - I count yoga, biking, etc. as other steps by the minute. I've increased my goals over the years (anywhere from 10,000 - 22,000 steps per day) - I love it.
