Greetings!
I'm fairly new to my fitness pal. I was just surfing the net one day when I was finally sooooo frusterated I knew it was time to do something. I found my fitness pal and thought that paying more attention to diet and exercise would help. I hope I'm sucessful because I'm tired of watching myself slowly become more and more vast as the months pass.
I've been doing my best, following my calorie restrictions and excercising regularly. it's been almost two months now and i can see some of the fat slipping away and being replaced my muscle, but i'm not loosing any weight. I'm getting really frusterated and I'm not sure what else to do.
I saw an advertizement for Acai Berry Blast (the stuff that has been advertized by Dr. Oz and Oprah) on this website and read some of the sucess stories I'm not sure what to believe and I'm afraid of the health problems it may cause in the future. I knwo a lot of diet products are essentially speed and wear your body out early... I don't know quite what to think. Has anyone else used this product? Has it worked for you? Are there any concerning side effects?

Hello and Welcome!:flowerforyou:
I can't help you on the acai berry but I can tell you that whole foods are usually better than juices or extracts. So if you can find the real berry it may be helpful.0 -
Welcome! Well stick to what your doing and don't give up, are your clothes fitting differently? Thats a good way to tell, sometimes the scale doesn't show progress unfortunately and I'm sure you are feeling better too!... as far as the acai from what I've heard its pretty much a scam. They charge you for shipping and then continue to charge your credit card. I've never talked to a person that it worked for, who knows if the only success stories are true, maybe it has worked for some but who knows if it will work for you...
My advice would be to keep working hard and try changing up your exercise routine by increasing the time or changing what your doing, don't worry the scale will drop if you just keep at it! Good luck

Acai berry supplement is a waste of money!! You can get the same benefits from eating fresh assorted berries. Blueberries are very high in antioxidants and YUMMY!!0

Thanks everyone! I wasn't sure about acai and I was thinking it sounded kind of sketchy. It just helps to hear it from other people. Thanks for the motivation and support! :happy:0
