is it normal to gain weight/ weigh more when its that time of the month?

    Yes. For me it's usually a pound or two.

    very much so due to water retention...happens every month for me, but it helps if I keep working out and drinking lots of water :smile:

    Yeah I usually gain about 2-3 pounds at that time of the month.
  • Probably 2-3lbs for that whole 5 days. I try not to get on the scale and make sure to make every workout count. It helps my cramps/mood too! :) Drink a ton of water and avoid alcohol during that time too, I feel like I dehydrate faster or something.

    I recently figured this out thanks to the ladies here on MFP. Yes you can gain but the pounds vanish after its over :smile:

    I was going to ask this same question. I am up 3lbs today. I am hoping it goes back down soon.
