I have a broken Metatarsal Bone and I was wondering if you all could give me some exercises that you would recommend that I could do to continue my weight loss. I have been told I can not bear weight on my right foot for at least 4 weeks while it heals. I am concerned that without being able to get up and move that I will become stagnant in my weight loss.
Thank you,
Kelly

Taking a walk on crutches should burn some good calories.
Slightly more seriously, maybe you could work on strength training for your upper body in the meantime. Some gentle weight-lifting you could do while seated. Also as your doctor if you can use ankle weights and do leg-lifts.0 -
how good are you at hopping? ....lol...
you are soooo energetic, remember you are the one that got me from the chair to the dance floor..hehe..well, the dance floor is the living room carpet...but still!!!
go hold on to the back of a stable heavy chair, or the dining room table, put your broken foot behind you bent at the knee..now hop up and down on your good foot until you run out of breath and break a sweat....Do not do this unless you are stable and there is nothing behind you to hit your bad foot on!!....0 -
If they didn't cast you, you can still do some swimming!
You should totally rent a wheelchair and take it around the neighborhood. Those things are ridiculously cardiovascular when you try and go fast!0
