My hubby is trying to think of something to give me for my 40th birthday in December and he brought up a bike. When we lived in Boise, Idaho, I had a mountain bike and rode on the Boise RIver greenbelt all of the time. I am not a fan of riding in traffic so, if I am going to get a bike, I need to know I will be able to ride on some paths dedicated to bikes.
At the very least, I wouldn't mine riding on bike friendly roads--like around the Rose Bowl and up on Linda Vista, which is above the Rose Bowl.
My SoCal friends, any suggestions? I wouldn't mine driving a bit to get to a good route.

Are there pedestrians on your bike path? You might find it easier and less frustrating to deal with cars.0
