I been trying to do this weight lost thing because I gain a significant amount of weight after breaking my feet and getting pregnant so in the past 4yrs I have gained about 40lbs and I want to ultimately lose about 90lbs but I am having a hard time keeping my motivation!!! I joined my fitness pal and tell my friends to join and they haven't everyone around me is trying to lose weight but no one wants to work together. I am looking for some encouragement and maybe a fitness buddy

  • You can totally do it! The first part is the toughest, but also the most rewarding. I've been watching what I eat and walking to work for a little over a week now, and even though I haven't lost anything, I have tons more energy and feel better about myself.
Take the time to take care of you! You won't regret it!

I completely understand.. I have had ONE consistent friend in this weight loss journey. You will find most of you support will come from something like this, where ppl are here becuase they want to be there. Not because some one forced them. These folks will be more consistent and supportive becuase this is where THEY came to get healthy.

    Feel free to add me.

    I'm upstate!
I drink beer and eat out and order pizza almost once a week. So I think I am pretty motivational!

I gave up telling people about mfp. It just is a lost cause. They will have to find there own way.
