introducing myself

:flowerforyou: I'm back for another try at losing this extra weight. was here last year and lost 27 lbs by the end of summer, but the holidays did me in and I gained most of it back, sadly. as long as I stuck to the Atkins Diet I was doing great, but wintertime and rising costs made it difficult to stick to that plan. not to mention there are just to many (fattening) winter comfort foods and holiday treats to indulge in! but I'm determined to succeed this time...not just try, but do! Though I think being over 65 means it's going to be harder than if I had done it at an earlier age....I am looking for diet buddies in my age group and in my area, the Midwest, Missouri in particular!

I know what it's like to get stuck in the low carb dieting! I did it for so long and although it can be very effective in weightloss, it can get expensive and your body can adjust! I'm not in Missouri, but I would love to have you as a friend and support you where I can!!0
