5'4 currently 159lbs.
I am trying to lose about a pound a week, (more would be nice but I'm going for slow and steady).
My BMR says 1478 calories a day but MFP says recommended 1390 calories per day..
My TDEE is 2289.
I do currently breastfeed which is a recommended additional 400 calorie increase.
So recommended calories per day is 1790.
I exercise moderatly 30-60 minutes 3-5 times a week and I am a busy mom of 4 kids so I'm always on the go always walking, doing yard work, and on my feet a lot. I don't sit on the couch all day.. I also started running 2 x a week up to 3-4 miles at a time.
I eat under my calorie goal nearly everyday but I've been at this same plateau for about 2 months. Up and down give or take 3 lbs but never below 159. My next goal weightl is 145.
Any recommendations on what to change to make my goal?

Thank you! After reading these I realize I'm not eating enough! I appreciate your reply.0 -
A pound a week is a lot!!! That's 52 pounds in a year!!!! You might want to consider a more moderate weight loss rate that will allow you to eat more and still reach your goal within a year. I think it would be easier to maintain at that point also....0
