Heart rate monitor says...

Training not recommended. Does that mean no cardio but would strength training be okay? Or would pilates be recommended? Thanks

I used my hrm last night when I went dancing and logged info into my polar account. When I look at the site this am it's telling me I'm in the red zone and 'training not recommended" so I guess that tells me no cardio, so what do u all recommend? Pilates, etc. Thanks

    Had to google it.

Looks like Polar will flag this if it thinks you are overtraining. This is based on the frequency of training sessions and some other calculations based on your personal stats.

Let your overall feeling be your guide. Feel irritable/sore/worn out all the time? Take a day off.
Been exercising intensely for 6-7 days? Take a day off.

A real day off, as hard as that is.

If you feel totally fine, well, you know your body better than a fancy watch.
