I think ****head is a much more acceptable meaning of DH than dear husband, although I am curious what you read for OH rather than Other Half.

I'm not a fan of the designated hitter personally. Baseball is a two way sport, if you can't field, then feel free to pinch hit once a night.

I'm sorry (not really), but I can never read this in a forum post without thinking, "**** head."

 They are my initials.

    Its better than *kitten* hat.

I love this term. I try to work it into my vocabulary daily. I do believe this is a much better term than DH, which I also read as ****head.

    DH dear husband
    DW dear wife
    DS dear son
    DD dear daughter

And then people with multiple kids start DS1 or DS2 or DD3 that kind of thing.. it can get confusing.

I never use it, cause my hubby & I only call eachother "dear" when we're annoyed with the other person

Yup. If someone in this house says, "Yes, dear", it generally means "stfu already".
