Advice For Teenagers Calorie Intake

I have 14 year old twin girls. They have always been really active and into sports so I have never had to worry about their weight. Until one of my girls tore her ACL and meniscus playing soccer almost a year ago. She had everything repaired but has since gained 20-30 lbs and is now afraid to get back into the game. I don't want to put her on a "diet" but common since says she can't eat the same as she has been without the work. Over the summer vacation (before starting high school) I plan to have set meals for them throughout the day but wasn't sure what calories would be acceptable. I was thinking 2000 for a base. Is this too much? Too little?
I Estimated her BMR and TDEE
BMR =1627
TDEE = 2237
15% Cut =1907
***Side note I plan to start NROL4W and may have her join me since the book directly speaks about why teenage girls are more like to have knee injury then teenage boys.

Check with her pediatrician-kids need different macros than adults since they are still developing.0
