I've been off blood pressure medication for several weeks now and just got checked at the doctors office this morning and it was 136 / 70. (I've been monitoring it closely at home but to have them check at the office with a real pressure cuff was like validation.) This is way better than I was six months and 50lbs ago even taking medication- especially the second number which was stubborn for me to get below 90 even on multiple blood pressure medicines. I totally felt like giving the nurse a big hug.

    My doctor said mine was genetic- before it became normal anyway.
