SBF2 Reboot Boogaloo! Aug 3rd

Today is my last day to sub for my teacher - she comes back in today - very excited. I still have three more weeks of teaching 3x a week, but it will be good to have her back. I'm also walking today. I got something in my eye yesterday and might have scratched my cornea, so it made me useless last night and it's still all junky and swollen today.
I'm trying to decide how much stuff I want to do in Sept/Oct. There are two (or three if I go to Dallas) yoga workshops and a couple of bike rides. I think I'm going to sign up for two of each, though the yoga is on the expensive side ($200 for each weekend workshop), though I've been teaching enough to offset the cost. There's another one coming in November that I really want to do. There's also a set of three workshops taught by my kick butt teacher, so I'd have to save up for those. All these opportunities to exhaust myself on the weekend
Pushing yourself, boogaloo!

Good morning pebbles!
I am back and trying to get into the swing of things again. DH turned off the alarm this morning and ended up falling asleep again. I don't know why he's so tired. He even napped yesterday. I guess being at home all day alone with Alex is tiring.
AF came right after the retreat was over. I went to the bathroom before we left and wah-lah! Great timing huh? So I'm not in the mood to do much this morning. I will try to get my push ups in. I need to wash clothes and do some cleaning. And I need to spend time with Alex. I'm going to try to move his medicines to the evening and see if that helps with the tantrums and sleeping problems.
I gotta get breakfast. It's good to be back...I think. lol
Do something while I'm doing nothing boogaloo!

PS Mary I hope your eye gets better as the day progresses!0 -
Welcome back, MM! I hope you had a great time. I was sleepy this morning, too - and just when I was getting worried about being late my TOM arrived as well.
Normally I would run today, but the last time I tried that on the first day of TOM I got cramps. So I will probably do elliptical instead.
I have decided to try and get back into weight-loss mode. As much as I dislike counting calories (partly because it's tedious, partly because my husband cooks dinner and it is hard to calculate portions), I realize that I'm not likely to lose any more weight unless I go back to a more disciplined approach. You can't expect change unless you change something, right? So - counting calories, walking, cardio 3x/week, strength (pushups+something else) 3x/week, and stretching after all of those (except walking).
So, off to log my food boogaloo!
P.S. Sorry about your eye, Mary! And good luck with your training decisions.0 -
Pushup report - repeating week 3, level 3, day 1:
14
18
14
14
21 (minimum 20)
I probably could have done more on the last set if I had rested as many times as I usually do... but I figured that was good enough for today. I did take a walk and did 45 minutes on the elliptical.
Night all!0
