I don't understand why weight lifting does not affect your calories...
I've recently joined a gym (and I LOVE it!) and I do 30 mins on the treadmill and then start on the machines. I do 3 sets of 20 on each machine. These machines vary from leg press, ab machine, bicep/tricep machine...all kinds of things and when i'm doing it, i'm sweating to death so I know i'm burning calories!! Why don't they count?

They do. Go to the Exercise tab, and search Cardiovascular for Strength Training. Just input the time you spent on the weight machines.I don't understand why weight lifting does not affect your calories...
