Hey all.

After tipping the scales at 301 lbs I decided enough was enough. In the best interest of my health and wanting to be around for my kids well into my golden years I decided I had enough and began dieting and exercising.

I didn't find myfitnesspal right away so my first weigh in with it was 292 lbs, as of this morning I am clocking 286. Although the ideal goal for my height is around 196 lbs (i'm 6'2") I have set a little more realistic goal of 230 lbs to start with. Once I hit that I will continue on.

Aside from ditching the sodas, I have limited my portion sizes and calories. I also broke out the mountain bike and ride each night.

I am down in Casa Grande, Az so if there is anybody local looking for a riding partner let me know.
