Anyone Tried Eating Foods Accoring to Blood Type?

I've heard that if you eat the foods that are best for your blood type, you can keep your weight under control. Has anyone tried this method and is it successful?

OK. To start, this is incredibly misguided.

Your blood type has nothing to do with your weight loss and reflects a general lack of knowledge to human biology.

Your blood type is determined by antigens on your red blood cells, which indicates what antibodies the cells contain. This has zero to do with your weight. The short, weight loss is cals in < = cals out.

I tried it (about 10 years ago) - but then I've tried all kinds of things over the years!
I just found it too hard to stick to - like any restrictive diet it becomes a chore and that's just not sustainable unless you are highly motivated - and I really didn't see any actual benefits that made it worth my while.

I've decided that moderation is the way for me. I'm not going to start cutting out whole food groups or types anytime soon, for me that is a fast track to failure.

I took a look at it on the net the other day. My blood type is AB and from what I read, it said to mash the eating habits of A & B together, which contradicting each other. So I was like, "Nope."
